Monitoring International Labor Recruitment

This report lays the foundation for a comparative analysis of non-immigrant visas used to employ internationally recruited workers in the United States. In addition to identifying and describing visas of special interest, this report provides information about common issues and abuses associated with each visa, as well as a description of the regulatory framework.

The CDM Toolkit

The toolkit is a handbook that CDM developed in 2024 to empower Comité members to achieve their goal of educating their communities about their U.S. labor rights. CDM’s toolkit contains comprehensive, know-your-rights materials that Comité members disseminate in their communities. It enables Comité members to inform their communities and coworkers of their rights when traveling to the United States for work. For more information, please contact us at info@cdmigrante.org.

Litigation Support

CDM provides litigation support and settlement administration support to government agencies, non-profit organizations and private law firms whose clients or witnesses have returned to Mexico. These services include on-the-ground investigations where we locate and interview witnesses in Mexico, draft declarations, review documents and evaluate potential claims; facilitation of cross-border testimony and written discovery; and administration of judgment and settlement fund distributions. Check out our brochure to learn more about our services.
